Beetles lay eggs in small cracks and on the surface of wood, especially in the slightly moist wood found in NW washington crawlspaces. These eggs hatch and small beetle larvae end of living in the wood for upto 5 years before emerging, leaving behind a lot of unseen damage as well as a distinctive emergence hole. once they emerge they mate and the cycle starts all over again.

If you need help with an inspection or for a treatment for wood destroying beetles, give us a call. Inspection fee is $250 and is applied to the cost of the treatment if needed.
